Dole Recalls Some Spinach Salad
Thirteen states are involved in the recall.
— -- Dole Fresh Vegetables is voluntarily pulling some of its bagged spinach salad from store shelves in 13 states, from Missouri to Massachusetts.
More than 33,000 bags -- with an "Enjoy by Oct. 15" -- are involved because of concerns about a possible salmonella contamination.
No illnesses have been reported. "Neither Baby Spinach nor any other salads, are included in the recall," a Dole news release said.
