Inside Wendy Williams' Glam Suite: 10 Things You Don’t Know About Her
She’s one of the most powerful and notorious personalities on TV.
-- Wendy Williams started her career in TV and radio over three decades ago. Today, she’s one of the most powerful and notorious personalities on TV, worth nearly $60 million.
In an interview with ABC News, Williams said she is still the same person and hasn’t changed, but feels more comfortable in her own skin and gives herself permission to be exactly who she wants to be.
“Now, I finally have that sweet spot, at least in my mind, where I feel very comfortable saying exactly what I feel and being exactly who I am, because I know I'm a nice woman from Jersey who just happens to have a great opportunity,” she said.
Williams is a mother, a wife and best known for keeping it real. Her unapologetic bluntness has stirred up its share of controversy over the years, but it’s what made her popular syndicated television program, "The Wendy Williams Show," a smashing success.
Even though Williams, 51, said she'd like to retire, "not have to put on eyelashes every day," and joked "working is for suckers;" this hilarious media mogul, entrepreneur and best-selling author is showing no signs of slowing down.
In 2015 alone, she launched a clothing line with 20 unique styles, including plus sizes all under $100 on the Home Shopping Network (HSN). She has hit show “Death by Gossip With Wendy Williams” on Investigation Discovery, and “The Wendy Williams Show” just launched its seventh season.
Rebecca Jarvis, host of "Real Biz," met up with Williams in her dressing room and bedazzled office; she calls the Glam Suite to find out “How She’s Doin?” and how she manages to keep it real after all these years.
