Holiday Gadgets
The retailers have to guess almost a year early how many televisions to order. If they overbuy, you get the deals.
Walmart: Emerson 32 inch LCD HD TV - regular price $328, sale price $198
Target: Westinghouse 40 inch LCD TV - regular price $549, sale price $298
But the deep discounts this year will be on some of the biggest sets:
Best Buy: 50 inch Panasonic plasma - regular price $999 - after Thanksgiving $699
Sears: 55 inch Samsung LED/LCD is selling for almost $1,000 off
Remember it's not just on the big-ticket items like TVs where deals can be found.
Retailers are spending loads of money to get you in their stores and spending, so they're going to do everything they can, slashing prices to make sure you leave with a shopping bag or two.
