-- The Grammy Awards kicked off Monday in Los Angeles and the awards are already being handed out. Several artists have already taken home awards, including prior to the show during the Premiere Ceremony.
In fact, Swift won what the Grammys called the first award of the night for Best Pop Vocal Album. She later won for Best Music Video and Album of the Year -- becoming the first female artist to nab the award twice.
In her acceptance speech for Album of the Year, the 26-year-old seemed to address a lyric on Kanye West's latest album, "The Life of Pablo," in which he says he made Swift famous.
"There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your fame," the singer told the awards show audience, "but if you just focus on the work, and you don't let those people sidetrack you someday when you get where you're going, you'll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you that put you there."
Justin Bieber also had cause to celebrate. The pop icon, Skrillex And Diplo took home a Grammy for Best Dance Recording for "Where Are Ü Now."
The man who led all the nominees with 11, Kendrick Lamar also took home a Grammy early on for Best Rap Album for "To Pimp a Butterfly," while Country sensation Chris Stapleton took home the award for Best Album.
