Roll out the Red Carpet for Spring

Hollywood's hottest celebs don this season's new trends.

April 16, 2008 — -- Fashion-forward Hollywood starlets have officially declared spring on the red carpet.

Winter wardrobes of formal and stuffy grays and blacks are out as celebs mark this season with eye-popping warm colors and cool, flowing maxi dresses.

Colors range from soft metallics and ombre dyes to coral and rain forest prints. This spring's fashion ranges from casual to romantic flares.

Maxi dresses are in the spotlight this season where ladies look effortlessly elegant in full-length modesty. Stylish and toned celebs look as if they're ready for a resort getaway with Bohemian long dresses that have twists of exotic beach-inspired patterns. But we're also seeing some of Hollywood's hottest claiming the status of a Greek goddess with variations of silky tunics and sensual strapless robes.

And let's not forget the accessories -- whether the stars glam their hair up or down, warm weather also brings out colorful necklaces, bracelets and sandals with bejeweled accents.

Beyond her golden glow, could there be more news to follow her recent engagement? One can only speculate as new mom Nicole Richie also rocked a Missoni maxi dress at the awards event.

"Veronica Mars" actress Kristen Bell breaks onto the silver screen with the much anticipated film, "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." Bell took to the tropics-themed event with her strapless vibrant blue and white Polynesian-inspired ombre tie gown designed by Jenni Kayne. Tropical, Mediterranean and beach-inspired kitschy prints are the hottest designs for maxi dresses. Bell also added elegance with a gorgeous Bulgari gold charm necklace.
