-- There was a lot of buzz around Adam Levine's first major film role in "Begin Again" opposite Keira Knightley.
Well, guess what -- apparently "The Voice" star, 35, did the movie for free.
"I did this movie for no money. I'm very lucky that I'm in that position," he told USA Today.

He continued, "I want to have good experiences. I don't want to do a bunch of [expletive] that I hate. I want to treat [acting] completely differently because I have the very fortunate luxury of not having to think of this in terms of money."
Levine also told the newspaper about fiancée Behati Prinsloo, the woman that was able to lock down the Maroon 5 frontman.
"She's incredible and that alone makes me the luckiest person in the world," Levine said.
Levine also said, "I'm so happy that I get to have this life. It's funny because no one knows how good my life is as well as I do."
