Adele Apologizes to Fans in Phoenix for Canceling Her Show
The singer is sick and promised to come back another time.
-- Adele has been forced to cancel tonight's concert in Phoenix, Ariz., after struggling with a cold.
The "Hello" singer released a video on Twitter explaining the decision to pull the plug on the show at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.
"I've had a cold for a couple of days, and I've been pushing through it, and I did my show last night, and I loved it, but I pushed too hard, and my cold has gotten the better of me," she says in the video.
"Even if I did the show [tonight], it wouldn't be very good," she added.
The Grammy-winner says she hated to let her fans down, but, she notes, "I have to look after myself, because I've got so many more shows to do."
She promises to reschedule the concert.
Adele performed at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on Tuesday night. Her tour is currently set to resume this weekend with a pair of shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles
