Adele Shares Cute Childhood Photo for 'Throwback Thursday'
The "Hello" singer is breaking records with her new music.
-- In the wake of Adele's record-breaking song "Hello," the first single off her new album, the singer responded to the overwhelming support for her musical comeback with an adorable "Throwback Thursday" photo.
The "Someone Like You" singer posted an old photo of herself as a young girl grinning from ear to ear on Twitter, and thanked her fans for "all the love" that her new music has received.
"Throwing it way back with this," said Adele. "Thank you for all the love, I am so blown away. X"
Adele has plenty to be thankful for. After a two-year hiatus, her new single, "Hello," broke two Vevo world records in its first week, and the anticipation for her upcoming album doesn't seem to be slowing down at all.
The "Hello" music video racked up 27.7 million views in its first 24 hours (beating previous record holder Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" music video by over 7 million views), and became the fastest music video to reach "Vevo Certified" status after surpassing Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" six-day record, and hitting the 100-million-views mark in just five days.
Additionally, the single went straight to No. 1 on both the iTunes and Spotify charts.
Adele's third studio album, "25," will be released Nov. 20.
