'Gilmore Girls' Star Alexis Bledel and 'Mad Men' Actor Vincent Kartheiser Wed

— -- Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser are now husband and wife.

The two actors were married in California in June, her rep confirmed to ABC News.

Former "Gilmore Girls" star Bledel, 32, met Kartheiser, 35, in 2012, when she was guest-starring on his AMC show, "Mad Men." (In the series, her character had an affair with his.) He proposed about a year later.

"It was purely comedic but he was giving [Elisabeth Moss] and I a facetious rendition of his planned proposal," their co-star Jessica Paré told People at the time. "We were like, 'Great! Lets do this one without cursing and without yelling!'"

Moss also expressed her excitement for her co-star.

"They are such a yin and yang," she told the magazine. "I've known Vinny for 12 years and Alexis is just the sweetest. I've never seen Vincent like this. It is really cool."

This is the first marriage for both.
