Aretha Franklin: I Power Walk the 'Aisles' of Walmart, K-Mart
The singer spills details of her unconventional fitness regimen.
June 11, 2014 -- At age 72, Aretha Franklin looks better than ever.
The "Respect" singer performed on "Live with Kelly & Michael" today and rocked the house.
Her amazing performance comes after a 2013 where the legendary singer canceled a number of shows due to an undisclosed illness. Late last year, she revealed to the Associated Press that she was recovering well.
After her stunning performance, she revealed her fitness regimen that has the icon looking so good.

She told guest host Anderson Cooper about her "walking regimen," which includes walking in super stores like Walmart and K-Mart.
"The biggest ones, K-Mart, Meijer, Wal-Mart," she said, adding that sometimes people stop her. "I really don't like to break my stride when I'm walking so I change aisles really quickly."
Still, she knows how to splurge too. The singing legend, who drove from Detroit to New York City, added that she loves to make pit stops at Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans.
"It's about the chicken and dumplings!" she said. "The dressing is wonderful."
