'Bachelorette' Britt Nilsson Opens Up About Being Sent Home
"I was shocked, I really was," she said.
-- After Britt Nilsson was sent home Tuesday night on the "Bachelorette," she sat down with Jimmy Kimmel to talk about not finding love on the show.
Kaitlyn Bristowe was chosen to stay in the first ever "Bachelorette" that started off with two women eligible to meet the suitors.
"I just felt like I was supposed to do it," she said of coming on the show, only to be eliminated by the men now vying for Kaitlyn's heart. "Last time was hard and this was going to be a weirder situation than normal."
As always, the show made her elimination more suspenseful and she looked shocked when host Chris Harrison said she was going home.
"I get it, watching ti back, that is a more interesting way to watch it," she said. "I was shocked, I really was. I just had this feeling I was supposed to do it. In my mind, that meant I'm going to do the whole season. I met these guys and I felt things starting ... I did like some of these guys."
Something not on the show, Britt said Tony the healer tried to tell her why he had a black eye when they first met as "Bachelorette" and contestant.
"He came up to em and he had written a note," she said, adding that it said come find him and he would explain the black eye. She never found out because she left the show.
