'Batman v Superman': Amy Adams on Playing Lois Lane, Shirtless Scenes With Henry Cavill

Adams describes her Lois Lane character as "fearless."

"I love that she’s fearless," Adams said today on "Good Morning America." "I’m not that way so it’s really fun that she really is not afraid of the consequences."

"What’s great about this is that, as far as the relationship with Lois and Clark goes, when we meet them you can tell that they’ve been in a relationship for while," Adams said. "So it was great to get to develop that sort of intimacy and that sort of friendship that I’ve developed with Henry, to get to bring that to screen."

Cavill is shirtless in some of the film, which Adams revealed had a surprising effect on her during filming.

"I don’t know why him shirtless makes me have low self-esteem but that’s exactly what it did," Adams said. "It was like two weeks of working out."

She added: "I was like, ‘Wait. I’m never going to keep up with Henry.’ But I tried."
