Ben Affleck on Co-Parenting With Jennifer Garner: ‘We’re Doing Our Best’
"We're good friends," the actor says of estranged wife Jennifer Garner.
-- Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are separated, but the actor said in a new interview that the pair are focused on co-parenting their three children.
“We’re good friends and we’re doing our best and our kids are fabulous and we’re working our best for them,” Affleck said Wednesday during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show," of his children with Garner, daughters Violet, 10, and Seraphina, 7, and son Sam, 4.
Garner and Affleck, both 43, announced their separation in June 2015 after ten years of marriage.
Affleck also talked to DeGeneres about taking on the role of Batman in the upcoming film “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
He told DeGeneres that his son Sam may believe he’s the real Batman.
“When I leave he’s like ‘Dad, you’re going to the bat cave? I’m like ‘Yes, I am,’” Affleck said.
Sam also comically warns his father, “Watch out for the Joker!” Affleck's response? "I’ll look out for him, big guy.”
