Rumors began circulating that Madden, 35, and Diaz, 41, had been seeing each other this past spring. However, the "Other Woman" actress has been outspoken about relationships recently, going so far as to tell InStyle magazine that she didn't believe in monogamy.
"I don't know if anyone is really naturally monogamous," she said. "We all have the same instincts as animals. But we live in a society where it's been ingrained in us to do these things."
