The Best Reactions of Olympians’ Families Watching in the Stands at Rio

Team USA gymnast Aly Raisman's parents appear to be doing the routine with her.

— -- If watching your child or spouse compete in the Olympics was an Olympic sport itself, some family members would deserve a gold medal for the agony they endure.

Just watch the parents of Team USA gymnast Aly Raisman, who appear to practically be performing their daughter’s routine in the stands while she competes on the floor.

Rick and Lynn Raisman, who made names for themselves at the 2012 Olympics, were again captured on camera in Rio cringing and shifting while watching Aly, 22, compete on Sunday night.

Shane Tusup, who also coaches his wife, was captured on camera going crazy on the sidelines as Hosszu won the gold and set a new world record in the 400-meter individual medley.

The pair were spotted in the stands Sunday, along with Phelps and Johnson’s infant son, Boomer, cheering on Phelps and his teammates to a gold medal in the 4x100 meter freestyle relay.
