Bobbi Kristina Brown: Cissy Houston Speaks Out About Granddaughter

There's "still not a great deal of hope," Brown's grandmother said.

In that time, Brown's grandmother Cissy Houston has remained basically silent about the situation, as her granddaughter fights for her life in a local hospital.

She first said she "feels every bit" of the prayers from fans, friends and family for her granddaughter.

As for how she's doing, "She's the same," Houston, 81, said of Bobbi Kristina.

"They've moved her now to a place for rehabilitation and you know, still not a great deal of hope," she added. "If he works a miracle, thank God. If it happens the other way, I'm alright."

Brown, who turned 22 earlier this month, was found face down in her bath tub on Jan. 31 by Gordon and another friend. She's been in the hospital since. The incident happened almost three years to the day when Brown's mother Whitney Houston was found in a similar situation and died shortly after.

Gordon, 25, was on "Dr. Phil" recently and his mother shared some details of what happened the night before and morning of the incident. Gordon's mother said the couple went out drinking with a friend the Friday night before and stayed out early into the morning. The three came back to the home, where Gordon and Brown got into an argument.

Brown was later found in the tub after Gordon went to another room and fell asleep.

Days after the incident, the Houston family released a statement, asking for privacy and that "Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family."
