Bobbi Kristina Brown: Nick Gordon 'Desperately Wants to Be With' His Love, Lawyer Says
Gordon "has been trying privately" to see her in hospital.
-- Bobbi Kristina Brown has been hospitalized since she was discovered unresponsive in her Roswell, Georgia home at the end of January.
Coming up on three weeks since local police told ABC News that Nick Gordon and a friend found Brown, 21, face down in her tub, the 25-year-old is opening up on his quiet efforts to see his "love."
“Nick has been trying privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively," Gordon's lawyers Randall Kessler and Joe Habachy told ABC News in a statement. "He has respected the family’s wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation. But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted.”
This is the second time Gordon has spoken out through his reps.
Last week, Kessler shot down reports Gordon was seeking legal action to see Brown and said his "only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina. He remains in constant prayer for his companion and he hopes to be reunited with her soon."
Gordon is not officially family or married to Brown, as was reported shortly after her incident.
Gordon and Brown had told reporters previously they had wed last year, but Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, legal counsel for Brown's father, Bobby Brown, told ABC News earlier in the month: "To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon."
Gordon and Brown got together romantically shortly after the death of Brown's mother, Whitney Houston, in 2012. Before that time, Gordon lived with Houston and her family for almost a decade.
After Brown was discovered by Gordon in her home, she was taken to North Fulton Hospital, but then moved to Emory University Hospital days later.
Brown has been surrounded by family, including her father, who has continued to ask for privacy while they monitor her condition.
