'Boy Meets World': Where Are They Now?
A "Boy Meets World" spin-off is in development.
Nov. 5, 2012 -- intro: "Boy Meets World" fans, rejoice: a version of the hit '90s sitcom may be coming soon to a small screen near you.
ABCNews.com has confirmed that the Disney Channel is in "very early development" on a pilot for a show called "Girl Meets World." They're working with Michael Jacobs, executive producer of "Boy Meets World" and "Charles in Charge."
For those who don't remember, "Boy Meets World" was a staple of ABC's "TGIF" comedy block from 1993 to 2000 and helped untold numbers of teens deal with the awkwardness of growing up. Casting for the new series is under way, and while there's no word yet on whether Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel, or any of the original actors will reprise their roles on the new show, Fishel posted a cryptic, suggestive tweet over the weekend: "Just want you guys to know that @BenSavage and I have talked and we've decided … Thanksgiving is going to be delicious this year!"
While you wait for the triumphant return of Cory and Topanga, check out what the cast has been up to since "Boy Meets World" went off the air:

He was in the critically acclaimed indie film "Palo Alto" in 2006 and has appeared in episodes of "Chuck," "Bones," and "Without a Trace."
The 32-year-old ventured outside of Hollywood too -- in 2003, he interned for Senator Arlen Specter, and graduated from Stanford University in 2004 with a degree in political science.media: 17645302
quicklist: 2title: Danielle Fisheltext: After "Boy Meets World," Fishel, now 31, ventured into teen film territory. She appeared in the 2003 movie "National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze" with fellow '90s star Tatyana Ali.
In 2006, she became the celebrity spokesperson for the NutriSystem diet plan after talking about how it helped her lose weight on "The Tyra Banks Show." Fishel became a correspondent for Banks' talk show the following year, and has taken on hosting gigs with the Style channel and MSN since then. media: 17645323
quicklist: 3title: Rider Strongtext: The erstwhile Shawn Hunter ("Boy Meets World's" resident heartthrob) tried his hand behind the camera after the sitcom ended. He and his brother Shiloh Strong wrote and directed the short film "Irish Twins," which got attention and awards in the indie film circuit during 2008.
An avowed supporter of President Obama, in 2008, he created an ad for MoveOn.org that aired on MTV and Comedy Central. Like Savage, he went to school after "Boy Meets World," and graduated from Columbia University in 2004 with a degree in English. He's now 32.media: 17645516
quicklist: 4title: Will Friedletext: He played the under-achieving older brother of Cory in "Boy Meets World," but unlike his character, since the end of the show, Will Friedle has found a steady career in voiceovers. It helps that the 85-year-old actor was big time before "Boy Meets World." He played Dustin Hoffman's father in "The Graduate" and served as the voice of KITT in "Knight Rider."media: 17646388
