While in the hospital, according to the video played at a Bruno Mars concert in Cleveland this past weekend, Thorpe, 11, listened to Mars' "When I Was Your Man," her favorite song, each night.
The video adds that an inspired Thorpe began walking -- and even to sing the words from some of Mars' songs. One of the therapists at Thorpe's hospital are now convinced the singer's music helped the little girl recover.
