Caitlyn Jenner: Kim, Khloe and Kendall React to Vanity Fair Cover
"Be free now pretty bird," Kendall Jenner wrote.
-- Caitlyn Jenner's daughters are sharing their support for the Vanity Fair cover that was released for the first time on Monday.
The cover, photographed by Annie Leibovitz, shows the Olympian, 65, formerly known as Bruce, with the title, "Call me Caitlyn."
Khloe Kardashian was the first of Jenner's daughters to share her support.
"We were given this life because you were strong enough to live it! I couldn't be prouder!!! Caitlyn, You are beautiful!!!" she wrote.
Kendall Jenner also shared her support, posting, "Now that's a cover," and, "Be free now pretty bird."
Kim Kardashian also tweeted, "Caitlyn Jenner for Vanity Fair Annie Leibovitz! How beautiful! Be happy, be proud, live life YOUR way!"
In the Vanity Fair interview itself, Jenner's children from a previous marriage open up about their hopes for Caitlyn.
“I have high hopes that Caitlyn is a better person than Bruce. I’m very much looking forward to that," Caitlyn's son Burt, 36, said.
Jenner's daughter Cassandra, 34, also said she was part of "girls' nights" Caitlyn hosted to help everyone feel natural about the transition.
“I was just nervous that I wouldn’t make her feel comfortable,” Cassandra told the magazine. “I was worried I wouldn’t say the right things or act the right way or seem relaxed ... [but] we talked more than we ever have. We could just be girls together.”
Caitlyn Jenner also tweeted after the cover was revealed, writing, "I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me."
In a video that accompanies the Vanity Fair article, Jenner says, "The last few days in doing this shoot was about my life and who I am as a person. It’s not about the fanfare. It’s not about people cheering in the stadium. It’s not about going down the street and everybody giving me [a] ‘Thataboy, Bruce!’ pat on the back, OK? This about your life. Bruce always had to tell a lie. He was always living that lie. Every day, he always had a secret from morning 'til night. Caitlyn doesn’t have any secrets. Soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I’m free.”
