Now, it seems that Caitlyn Jenner, 65, also sees the actress as a role model, as she reached out to Cox on Twitter to share her praises.
".@LaverneCox, you are fierce and fabulous! Your support means the world. Thank you for all that you do for the community. #TransIsBeautiful," Jenner wrote on Wednesday night.
To which Cox responded, "My pleasure. Sending you lots of love always. #TransIsBeautiful."
Cox has been an avid supporter of Jenner, even writing in a Tumblr post earlier this month, "Many have commented on how gorgeous Caitlyn looks in her photos, how she is 'slaying for the Gods.' I must echo these comments in the vernacular, 'Yasss Gawd! Werk Caitlyn! Get it!' ... Yes, Caitlyn looks amazing and is beautiful but what I think is most beautiful about her is her heart and soul, the ways she has allowed the world into her vulnerabilities."
