Caitlyn Jenner's Daughter Cassandra Says 'Relationship Much Better'
"But we still have a lot of work to do," Cassandra Marino says.
-- A lot has been made of Caitlyn Jenner’s efforts to reconnect with her four children from two previous marriages before marrying into the Kardashian empire.
Now, Cassandra Marino, Caitlyn's daughter from the Jenner side with former wife Chrystie, is opening up and says things are actually getting better since the gender transition.
"My relationship with Caitlyn is much better than with Bruce, but we still have a lot of work to do," she told People magazine.
Marino, 34, continued, "We didn't talk for years, and now we see each other every couple of weeks and talk on the phone, which I am grateful for."
She added that Caitlyn Jenner, 65, is "happier" now and "more appreciative of her family."
"She is trying harder and there is a softness to Caitlyn that is new to me. I think part of that is that when someone is happier, they are just nicer," she added.
Jenner's daughter added that she is still a part of the girls' nights that Caitlyn spoke about in the Vanity Fair article.
"I am pleased with how beautiful and comfortable she seems every time I see her,” Marino said. “She seems to be having a lot of fun with it.”
