Camille Grammer's Latest Divorce Dig: Kelsey Grammer Liked to Cross-Dress

Jan. 13, 2011— -- Frasier Crane always billed himself as a ladies man; not a man who wanted to be a lady.

But on Wednesday's edition of Howard Stern's satellite radio show, Kelsey Grammer's soon-to-be ex-wife, Camille Grammer, implied that the latter is the case for the "Frasier" star.

"He likes being with women, but there's something between us that didn't click," Camille Grammer told Stern.

"What's the reason, he likes to dress as a woman?" co-host Robin Quivers asked.

Grammer burst into giggles. Stern joked about the actor trying on her panties and scored a response: "He has a little waist. I don't know what to say."

Pressed by Stern and Quivers, Grammer alluded to the "Fraiser" star's purported cross-dressing, saying, "That was a gift to me. That was a super, special surprise."

Then she clammed up, saying she'd be "smacked with a lawsuit" if she went on.

Perhaps to ward off the legal papers, she ended with an assertion:

"He's a man, very much a man. He's all man."

Despite his currently starring in the drag-queen Broadway musical "La Cage Aux Folles," Kelsey Grammer didn't find the banter very funny.

"While it is not clear why Camille Grammer continues making public statements about her marriage to Kelsey, it is crystal clear that Kelsey will continue not responding, regardless of content," Kelsey Grammer's publicist said in a statement.

It's not the first time Camille Grammer, 42, has waded into murky waters. On "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," the Bravo reality-TV show in which she participated last year, she kissed one of Kelsey Grammer's male friends on the lips.

With her latest revelations, the couple's divorce is shaping up to be nasty, even by Hollywood standards. Kelsey Grammer, 55, has reportedly been trying to speed up the split so he can marry his latest paramour, former flight attendant Kayte Walsh, 29.

Regardless of when their divorce is finalized, the couple's financial drama will likely play out well into 2011. They never signed a prenup and, during their 13 years as husband and wife, they built up a fortune of more than $100 million in real estate, his earnings from "Frasier" and the proceeds from their company, Grammernet Productions, according to TMZ.com. If no prenup exists, Donatacci is entitled to half of the fortune.

Perhaps Grammer will tread more carefully as he steps into his next marriage; his fourth. Grammer announced his engagement to Walsh Dec. 6.

The couple had said in August that they were expecting a baby, but revealed two months later that Walsh had miscarried.
