Cara Delevingne Declares Her Bisexuality Is 'Not a Phase'

The actress and model is in a relationship with pop star St. Vincent.

The 22-year-old model-actress told The New York Times that while she found the protest flattering, she saw “nothing malicious” in the article itself.

“My sexuality is not a phase," she declared. "I am who I am."

Delevingne's Vogue interview was the first time she publicly addressed her bisexuality and her relationship with indie pop star St. Vincent, noting, "I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I'm feeling so happy with who I am these days."

"It took me a long time to accept the idea, until I first fell in love with a girl at 20 and recognized that I had to accept it," she told Vogue.

Delevingne plays an enigmatic girl who disappears and leaves behind a series of clues her neighbor must decipher to find her in the big-screen drama "Paper Towns."

It opens nationwide July 24.
