Cardi B braves cold, rocks fur, for court appearance in alleged strip club fight case
The entertainer told photographers, 'it's cold outside!'
In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it court appearance, entertainer Cardi B arrived at criminal court in Queens, New York for a hearing on a case in which she is charged with misdemeanors for her alleged role in a fight at a strip club last fall.
The 26-year-old rapper, whose birth name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, was decked out in all fur, replete with a fur hat, as she strutted up the steps of Queens Criminal Court.
“It’s so cold outside!” Cardi B shrieked.
But the photographers waiting in the cold for her wanted to know about the real breaking news -– was she back together with her husband, rapper Offset?
Overnight, TMZ reported that the two are back living together in Atlanta -- “under the same roof, and the hip-hop power couple is officially back on,” the web site reported.
“I don’t understand how you guys could yell that!” she shouted back.
Pressed, she later revealed, “We’re working things out baby.”
After a brief appearance during which her case was adjourned until April 4, she left court as swiftly as she arrived.
She is facing two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault.
She allegedly threw bottles and booze at two sisters, causing at least one of them "substantial pain, annoyance and alarm" as court records put it.
The strip club incident followed just weeks after Cardi B tried to attack Nicki Minaj at the Harper's Bazaar Icons party during Fashion Week last fall. Video that went viral on social media showed Cardi B lunging at Minaj and throwing her shoe the hip-hop artist.
Weeks before the the dispute with Minaj, Cardi B had her first child, Kulture Kiari Cephus.
