Carrie Fisher Fires Back at Body-Shamers on Twitter
The "Star Wars" actress is fed up with the debate of if she "aged well."
-- Carrie Fisher has had enough of the criticism from body-shamers.
The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actress took to Twitter to respond to remarks about her appearance, and commented that her "body hasn't aged as well as [she has]."
"Please stop debating about whether or not [I] aged well," wrote Fisher. "Unfortunately it hurts all 3 of my feelings," the actress joked.
Fisher, 59, also re-tweeted a Twitter user who wrote that in today's society, "Men don't age better than women, they're just allowed to age."
Fisher has previously spoken out about the scrutiny surrounding a women's weight appearance in society.
"I’m in a business where the only thing that matters is weight and appearance," Fisher said in an interview with Good Housekeeping U.K.
