Carrie Underwood Makes History With 'Storyteller'
Underwood's "Storyteller" is No.1 on the Billboard Country Album chart.
-- Carrie Underwood has quite the story to tell.
The seven-time Grammy winner's new album, "Storyteller," has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album chart, making Underwood the only artist in the chart's 51-year history to launch her first six albums at No. 1.
Sony Music said "Storyteller" logged "pure" sales in excess of 164,000, according to Nielsen Music, as well as 177,000 equivalent album units -- a combination of traditional album sales, streaming equivalent sales, and track equivalent sales.
"Storyteller" was released Oct. 23 and has already produced the top-five country hit "Smoke Break," as well as the Sam Hunt duet "Heartbeat" and the most recent release, "Renegade Runaway."
