Charlie Sheen Wants to Return to 'Two and a Half Men' For Final Season

— -- Even though he left "Two and a Half Men" a few years ago in a blaze of infamy, Charlie Sheen still seems to have a soft spot in his heart for the show.
Now, he's hoping to return to the CBS sitcom, which is entering its final season.
In an interview with TV Guide Magazine, Sheen said he's "reached out" to the studio behind "Two and a Half Men" and "they've reached back."

"We're trying to figure out what makes the most sense. If they figure it out like I've presented it to them and they want to include me in some final send-off, I'm available and I'm showing up early. If not, it's on them."
Despite what Sheen says, TV Guide insiders maintain that producers have not spoken with the actor regarding a future appearance on "Two and a Half Men."
He didn't exactly leave the show on good terms -- criticizing creator Chuck Lorre and various executives in a series of heated rants before his firing in 2011.
Sheen attempted to extend an olive branch to Lorre on Twitter last November, but told TV Guide that "personally" he has yet to make peace with Lorre.
Sheen's character, Charlie Harper, was killed off after he was given the pink slip, and Ashton Kutcher took his place in the cast. Sheen has since moved on to "Anger Management," for which he says he has shot 87 of the 100 episodes ordered by FX.
