Shailene Woodley is back in the first teaser trailer for "Divergent: Insurgent," the 2015 follow up to the 2014 film.
In the preview, we see the repercussions of the first movie, where the divergents -- Woodley's Tris and Theo James' Four -- were able to break free from the controlling system and avoid a catastrophe planned by one of the sects.
Parts of the city are burning and Woodley, 22, has chopped off her hair, looking like a battered hero.
"The world will never be the same" is the tagline flashed before the screen and Woodley attempts to save her mother.
The official plot on YouTube reads, "INSURGENT raises the stakes for Tris as she searches for allies and answers in the ruins of a futuristic Chicago. Tris (Woodley) and Four (James) are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine (Winslet), the leader of the power-hungry Erudite elite. Racing against time, they must find out what Tris’s family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them. Haunted by her past choices but desperate to protect the ones she loves, Tris, with Four at her side, faces one impossible challenge after another as they unlock the truth about the past and ultimately the future of their world."
