'Dancing With the Stars' 2014: Final Four Prepare for Season 19 Finale
Four stars have made it to the season 19 finale of “Dancing With the Stars.”
— -- It's the final week of season 19 of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," and the four finalists who are going to battle it out for the mirror ball trophy are excited for the two-night finale that starts tonight.
As they work on the dances that they hope will help them to make it to the second night of the finals, actor Alfonso Ribeiro, actress Janel Parrish, YouTube personality Bethany Mota and "Duck Dynasty" star Sadie Robertson talked with "Good Morning America" correspondent Melissa Rycroft about their experience on the competition.
"I didn't think I was going to make it past, like, week two or three. Honestly, week one," Mota, 19, said.
Her pro partner, five-time "Dancing" champion Derek Hough, chimed in.
"Oh, come on now," he said. "Give me some credit on that. Come on, I'll get you past week one."
Ribeiro, who starred in "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," faces three female competitors.
"I am the last man. I am the last old man standing. And no male has won over the last three seasons," he said.
Ribeiro, 43, made it to the finals despite suffering significant injuries during the course of the show, but he isn't worried about that.
In addition to their ballroom performance, each star and his or her pro partner will dance the all-important freestyle routine. The freestyle has generally had tremendous significance in determining the overall winner of the competition.
Although details of the freestyle are always kept secret, Ribeiro's partner, Witney Carson, gave a hint.
"He's great at tap dancing, so I wanted to incorporate that," she said.
Ribeiro added: "It's been 20 years since I've put on my tap shoes."
When Rycroft asked Parrish what was hardest for her to overcome this season, the "Pretty Little Liars" actress' answer focused inward.
"Myself, honestly," she said. "Pushing past limits and doing things that were out of my comfort zone. Overcoming myself and my fears."
And after the competition is over, Parrish, 26, plans to indulge, telling Rycroft that she's going to eat "lots and lots of pizza and sleep past 8 a.m."
When the mirror ball trophy is awarded and the show is over, Robertson will join her famous family for Thanksgiving.
"It'll be Thanksgiving at the Robertson house," Robertson, 17, said. "I'm going to eat so much it's not going to be funny."
The season started with thirteen competitors -- including actor Antonio Sabato Jr., actress Lea Thompson, talk show host Tavis Smiley and NASCAR legend Michael Waltrip -- vying for the mirror ball trophy and bragging rights.
