Why 'Dancing with the Stars' Alfonso Ribeiro is Doing the Carlton Dance for the Fans
But the "Fresh Prince" star actually admitted he'd rather "not" do the dance.
-- Alfonso Ribeiro plans to bust out his famed "Carlton dance" tonight on "Dancing With the Stars" and fans couldn't be more excited over the dance he made legendary on "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."
Last week, the actor tweeted, "It's official. @WitneyCarson and I are doing The Carlton Dance to Tom Jones It's Not Unusual this week @DancingABC #teamwitfonso Vote vote."
"Fresh Prince" fans remember Ribeiro, 43, throwing his arms in a circular motion to "It's Not Unusual" and can't wait to see the moves again tonight.

Ribeiro is doing the dance for the fans, but surprisingly, if he had it his way, he would rather do something new.
"We are going to plan it for when we think it works," he told ABC News earlier in the season.
He added, "To be honest, I would never want to do it, but I know the fans want it and so...we are giving it to the fans."
By the looks of it, the actor is still having fun with the old dance.
"The face @WitneyCarson makes when we are about to do the Carlton. @DancingABC #teamwitfonso" he tweeted on Saturday.
"DWTS" airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
