'Dancing With the Stars': Boyz II Men's Wanya Morris on Why He'll Win
Read the playful trash he talked about the rest of the cast.
-- Boyz II Men singer Wanya Morris is getting ready to show off his dance moves: he's the lone singer in the cast of season 22 of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." And the singer is not playing for second place.
"I mean, I thought it was a great experience," he told ABC News. "It's [an] awesome chance to grow, [and] change your...entertainment field a little bit, and just lose weight and, at the end of the day, to win."
The singer added that he has some surprise dance themes planned.
"Some of it is going to be very, very heart wrenching, hopefully, and people will be able to enjoy the interpretations of each song and I'm very excited," he said.
Morris is partnered with Lindsay Arnold and said, "Look man, let me tell you something, I didn't say yes to lose. You know what I mean? Lord willing...which I'm sure he is...at the end of the day [we] will be holding up the mirror ball."
The singer is competing against "Facts of Life" and "Real Housewives" star Kim Fields, Super Bowl MVP Von Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers baller Antonio Brown, actress Mischa Barton, actor Nyle DiMarco, Donald Trump's ex-wife Maria Maples, football star Doug Flutie, journalist Geraldo Rivera, television personality Ginger Zee, "Full House" star Jodie Sweetin and mixed martial artist Paige VanZant.
When asked if he's worried about the pro athletes in the mix, he responded, "They do very well at catching balls."
Tune in when season 22 of "Dancing with the Stars" premieres March 21 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
