Hammond, 58, was a cast member on "SNL" for 14 seasons, longer than any other actor in the show's history. During that time, he was famous for impersonating Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Sean Connery, among others.
He will begin appearing on "Saturday Night Live" again Sept. 27, for the show's premiere.
