Darth Vader Shows Us the Not-So-Dark Side of His Everyday Life

Pawel Kadysz, of Poland, captures the "Star Wars" character in daily life.

— -- Darth Vader -- he’s just like us.

“I thought about movie villains and the fact that we don’t think of them as real people,” Kadysz, 29, wrote to ABC News of his inspiration for the photo series. “And that’s what they are. Regular people, with different life goals, but still, just people. And can you think of more iconic villain than Darth Vader? I can’t.”

For someone so devoted to Darth Vader while working on this project, don’t get Kadysz wrong. When asked if he’s a giant “Star Wars” fan, he said, “Not huge, but definitely a fan.”

He’s a big enough fan to pose for all the photos himself, however.

“I’m the photographer, the model,” he explained. “I don’t even have a remote for my camera, so the camera is triggered with self-timer. Every time, I have 12 seconds to pose. I got pretty good at it during that first month.”

Take a look at the lighter side of Darth Vader’s daily “Dark Side” activities.
