— -- Disney and Pixar revealed their plans for "Toy Story 4" Thursday, to be directed by John Lasseter, who directed the first two movies.

The film, set to be released June 16, 2017, will focus once again on the lives of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the crew.

“We love these characters so much; they are like family to us,” Lasseter said in a news release. “We don’t want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what’s gone before.

The famed director said he had never thought of doing another "Toy Story," until he heard the new concept for the film.
