Drea De Matteo's Apartment Among Those Destroyed in the NYC Fire
The "Sopranos" star posted photos and paid homage to firefighters.
— -- Drea De Matteo's New York home was among those destroyed by a building explosion and fire that also left two dozen people injured and two unaccounted for, the actress said.
"A hole where my NYC home of the last 22 years once stood..." the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." actress wrote on Instagram. "RIP 123 2nd Avenue."
The seven-alarm fire in New York City's East Village was reported at 3:17 p.m. Thursday and caused 25 injuries, including 20 civilians and four uniformed personnel, officials said. As of 6:30 a.m. this morning, NYPD Detective Bureau listed two people who had not yet been located, though they were not considered official missing persons.
In another photo, the former "Sopranos" star paid homage to the firefighters who worked so diligently to extinguish the flames.
"NYC's finest trying to put out the flames to mine n many others apartments. Speechless..." she wrote. "[Prayers] for those that are hurt."
It was not clear whether or not De Matteo still lived in the home, and her representative did not return a request for comment.
