Drew Barrymore 'Awestruck' by Husband's Modern 'Man Cave'

Feb. 5, 2015 -- Drew Barrymore's husband may be outnumbered in their busy household with two young daughters, but at least he has a fabulous place to call his own.
The private domain that art adviser Will Kopelman has carved out for himself in their Los Angeles home is featured in the latest issue of Architectural Digest.
Not your typical "man cave," Kopelman's inner sanctum is outfitted with art, books, family photographs and beloved keepsakes.
"I wanted to create a space that is a completely unfiltered expression of my aesthetic," Kopelman, who advises high-profile collectors from the Bay Area to London, told the magazine. "It’s my own personal bubble of peace."
Located off the master bedroom, the space is actually divided into three rooms, an office, bath and dressing room, each of which Kopelman stamped with its own distinct look.
"Will is not a snob, but he knows quality," Gwyneth Paltrow, his longtime friend told the magazine. "I’ve been on a mission to get him to start his own design firm."
And what does his wife think?
"I was awestruck when he finally showed the space to me. It was so beautiful and modern, in a completely unexpected way that is pure Will," Barrymore said. "I actually cried--partly because it’s so much nicer than my bath, which looks like something from an old folks’ home, and partly because it was finally done after nearly three years."
