Erin Andrews Makes First Appearance Since Court Victory

Andrews appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and thanked her fans for their support.

"This is kind of my come out of hiding, so why would I not want to be here," Andrews told Kimmel.

"I just want to thank everybody. There were so many that actually reached out -- all over the world really -- and were so supportive," she continued.

Andrews, 37, recently was awarded $55 million of her $75 million civil lawsuit against her stalker, Michael David Barrett, and the owner and operator of the Nashville Marriott where she was staying when Barrett secretly filmed her in 2008.

The sports broadcaster testified in court that she now suffers from depression, anxiety and panic attacks on a daily basis as a result of a video recording that was taken of her while she was in a hotel room and then shared online in 2009.

Earlier this month, the jury found Barrett to be 51 percent at fault and required him to pay out more than $28 million. West End Hotel Partners, which owns and operates the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University, where Barrett filmed Andrews, was found to be 49 percent at fault and will have to pay out more than $26 million.
