Evangeline Lilly: Paul Rudd ‘Fricking Sexy’ In ‘Ant-Man’

Evangeline Lilly says female fans will appreciate Paul Rudd's “Ant-Man."

She added: “I’ve had moments where, like, the beauty team, the glam squad will come be like, ‘Oh yeah, you should have seen that shot of Paul, he looked hot!’”

Smith asked Rudd whether the Ant-Man might display Rudd’s own keen sense of humor.

“I don’t know. I’m not sure. I think Ant-Man’s a lot like 'Sophie’s Choice.' I think people are going to be surprised,” Rudd said, laughing. “Yeah, it’s very serious. You have to be serious when you’re riding around on the back of an ant.”

Oscar-winner Douglas plays Dr. Hank Pym, Lang’s mentor and Van Dyne’s father. Pym is the brains behind the special serum that shrinks a human to the size of an ant.

Douglas, 70, reflected on his experience on the set of the film.

“I’ve never done one of these green screen movies and things you’ve got to pretend that are there, especially like ants,” he said.

Douglas had his children come to the set.

“This is the first film my son’s proud that I’m in,” he said, adding, “ my cool factor’s gone really up.”
