'Fifty Shades' Cast Confirmed Safe in South of France, Near Nice Attacks

— -- With the cast of "Fifty Shades Darker" currently filming in the French Riviera, near where the terror attack took place last night in Nice, France, producer Dana Brunetti posted on Facebook about the safety of his cast and crew.
"From production: 'Production has confirmed that everyone working on location in the south of France is okay. Everyone has been accounted for and is safe and sound,'" he wrote. "Thanks for everyone's messages and concerns. Another sad day for France and the world."
Pictures had surfaced earlier this week showing the film's stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson working on the sequel to the original film adaptation. It's unknown how this attack will affect production.
The death toll has topped 80, according to the Ministry of the Interior, as a driver ran his truck into a crowd gathered in Nice for Bastille Day.
"France is horrified by what has just occurred -- a monstrous act of using a truck to intentionally kill dozens of people celebrating 14th of July," French President Francois Hollande said during a nationally televised address early today.
The attacker has yet to be identified.
Fellow "Fifty Shades" actress Eloise Mumford also took to Instagram to post a picture of the French flag in support.
A request for comment from Universal Pictures was not immediately returned to ABC News.
