As the two enjoyed burgers at Landmarc in New York, Stephanopoulos said, "I loved what you just told me, we are actually paying homage to your first ever TV appearance."
Martin said, "Many decades ago, I did a cameo scene in a diner, where I was eating a cheeseburger and Linda Hamilton talked to the guest star of the week behind me.”
The prop guy kept giving him microwaved cheeseburgers and they did the scene over and over again, Martin, 66, said of 1987 scene.
"I had to take a bite out of like nine of them before the director liked the scene, so it's a lesson," he said. "If you are ever an extra in a TV show, be careful what you are doing, because you are going to be doing it over and over again for many hours."
