'Game of Thrones' Cast Gives Hints About the New Season

Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and Peter Dinklage weighed in.

The actors hinted at what's to come in the new episodes. Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister, said some of the characters who've previously never met will cross paths. He added, "I think that's going to be very exciting."

Williams, a.k.a. Arya Stark, offered this preview of the direction her character is headed: "She's been recently stuck on this one emotion to try to get back to her family and to try and put right what was wrong. And I think in the new season we see her try to reject that a little bit and take her life into her own hands."

Turner commented on the transformation her character, Sansa Stark, has made.

"I'd gone through seasons like one through four kind of being not that liked. And then ... and I'd done so many crying scenes and quite depressing scenes and it was nice to finally get a scene where I felt like I had a lot of power," Stark said.

The San Francisco event was staged five days after The Tower of London hosted a "Game of Thrones" premiere.

The fifth season of "Game of Thrones" begins on HBO on April 12.
