Gene Simmons' Home Searched by Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force

The KISS legend is not a suspect, but his home may have been used in a crime.

LAPD searched Simmons' Beverly Hills home and the family cooperated with authorities, police told ABC station KABC-TV.

A rep for Simmons and his family told KABC that police came to the home "to discuss a crime that may have occurred on their property last year while Mr. Simmons was away on tour with KISS. Neither Mr. Simmons nor any member of his family is a person of interest in the investigation and they are cooperating fully with the investigation."

The rocker, 65, has not discussed details of the incident but retweeted from his official account all the articles written about him that clear his family of any potential wrongdoing, writing in one of them "FOR THE RECORD."

Simmons' daughter Sophie added similar sentiments.
