Why Gisele Bundchen Gave Away Her Kids' Halloween Candy
"I let them try one," she said, adding that they didn't like it.
-- Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady's children didn't get to enjoy much of their Halloween candy, but it's not because their parents didn't let them eat it.
In fact, Bundchen told People magazine that they tried a piece and didn't like it, so they told their mom to give the candy to other kids who wanted it more.
“We don’t really have that kind of sugar in our house,” Bundchen told the magazine. “I let them try one [piece], but they really only had one bite and then they didn’t want it anymore. So I told them if they didn’t like it, I was going to give it away to other kids and they actually let me give their candy away."
Brady and Bundchen famously eat healthier snacks like avocado ice cream, so daughter Vivian and son Benjamin definitely still get their share of those treats.
"I said to them, ‘You know, there are so many kids that don’t get candy and you guys got so many, some kids don’t even get one! And they’re like, ‘Oh mom, OK, you can give it to them if they don’t get any,'" she added.
Bundchen shared a photo with her son earlier this week dressed as Luigi from the game "Mario Bros."
"When your son wants to be super Mario but no one wants to be Luigi. This is what you do," she wrote.
