Goldie Hawn on 'Ups and Downs' of 30-Year Relationship With Kurt Russell

The two stars have been together for more than 30 years.

But the A-list actress recently spoke to People magazine and was candid about their love affair, saying it isn't "perfect."

"We have our ups and downs live everybody else," she told the magazine. "You have to want to stay together – to stay together and we really want to be together. Therefore you work to be together."

The couple got together in 1983 and years later co-starred in the 1987 classic "Overboard."

Hawn, 70, said her and Russell, 64, "don't have a perfect relationship."

"Sometimes I get mad and sometimes Kurt gets mad. It's normal. Continuing to listen and grow is important because we get into bad habits in relationships. We're cognizant of these things in our relationships, being mindful and caring and listening," she said.

Recently, Russell joked about those marriage rumors that pop up every few years about the couple, who have never tied the knot.

"They trot that one out every four or five years, now that we’re four hundred years old...no, unfortunately, for those that need to hear yes, I do not have good news [that we are getting married]," he told "Extra.:
