Halle Berry, Gabriel Aubry and 4 More Nasty Celebrity Breakups
Gabriel Aubry was hospitalized and arrested after a fight at Halle Berry's home.
Nov. 23, 2012 -- intro: Halle Berry's split with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry turned ugly this Thanksgiving when Aubry was hospitalized and arrested after a fight at the actress' home with her fiancé, Olivier Martinez.
The fight broke out between the men at Berry's home just before 10 a.m. Thursday, ABC News station KABC-TV in Los Angeles reported. Aubry was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. with fractured ribs and bruising to his face.
Martinez injured his hand and neck but the extent of his injuries was unclear, KABC reported.
After the hospital treatment, police held Aubry on a charge of misdemeanor battery, with bail set at $20,000, Los Angeles Police Sgt. Mike Odle told ABC News Radio.
Afterwards, a judge issued an emergency protective order to keep Aubry at least 100 yards away from Berry, Martinez and Nahla, Aubry's daughter with Berry, until Dec. 3, KABC reported.
Berry, 46, recently endured a difficult custody battle with Aubry, 36. The pair split in March 2010. A judge denied the actress' request earlier this month to move to France with Nahla, a court victory for Aubry. He argued that the move to France would have been punitive and was designed to stop him from having contact with his daughter.
