Hawaii Seniors Bring Down the House at Graduation

The YouTube video of the graduation has over 1 million views.

— -- High-profile commencement speakers usually get all the attention around graduation time, but in Hawaii it was the graduating class themselves who stole the show.

For the grand finale, the Kahuku High seniors performed the "Kaipahua Kura,” a haka, or war dance, made specifically for the school.

The haka’s chorus is translated to, “Who are we? We are the Red Raiders,” according to a website associated with the school’s athletic teams.

Kahuku High and Intermediate School is known as “The Pride of the North Shore" and serves around 1,600 students in grades seven through 12, according to the school's website.
