See Hayden Panettiere's Huge Engagement Ring
The "Nashville" star confirmed that she's set to wed Wladimir Klitschko.
Oct. 10, 2013 -- Hayden Panettiere Wednesday confirmed that she's engaged to boxer Wladimir Klitschko after "Live With Kelly & Michael" co-host Kelly Ripa noticed her engagement ring, and it's clear why it caught Ripa's eye.
"I'm sort of distracted, not just by the snake [on the show], but there's a very large diamond ring on your ring finger," Ripa told the "Nashville" actress. "I'm not sure if you want to announce anything. ... Does that signify anything, is that a promise of something?
Panettiere responded, "It might be. ... I mean, I think it speaks for itself," and then confirmed her engagement.
After her appearance, during which she said that she and her beau have yet to set a date, she flaunted the rock for photographers outside of her hotel.
Panettiere, 24, and Klitschko, 37, met in 2009 at a book party and split in 2011. But they were spotted earlier this year kissing in Miami.
"It's like the 2.0 version," she recently told Glamour magazine of their relationship. "I've always had great relationships and stayed really good friends with the guys I've dated.
"It blows my mind sometimes that us getting together has gotten so much attention."
