7 Bad Celebrity Dads
Seven bad dads, from Hulk Hogan to Woody Allen, just in time for Father's Day.
June 15, 2012 -- intro: Pro wrestling champ Hulk Hogan has already shown a lack of common sense when it comes to his daughter, Brooke.
In 2008, he was photographed rubbing lotion on Brooke's bikini-bottomed backside. Then in 2010, while filming a commercial for Def Jam Rapstar, the elder Hogan appeared to have flashed the camera -- right in front of his daughter. Later, after the video went viral, it was revealed that he was actually wearing underwear.
Still, it seems Hogan hasn't learned that certain lines aren't meant to be crossed. Earlier this month, Hogan retweeted a sexual comment about his daughter -- not exactly an appropriate thing for a dad to do.
With Father's Day around the corner, check out our rogue's gallery of bad celebrity dads who give new meaning to dysfunctional.

By April, father and daughter had been sighted together at a restaurant, though, according to a source from Us Weekly, "She didn't seem too thrilled to be there, in all honesty." Her parents' addiction problems are well known -- Bobby racked up a DUI charge as recently as March -- and, recent reports of drug use by Bobbi Kristina seem to indicate she might be headed down the same path. Her father doesn't think so. "I trust and believe that she's smart enough to not go down the same road that maybe I did in the past or her mother did in the past. She's extremely smart," he told MTV News.media: 16012029
quicklist: 2title: Mathew Knowlestext: Soon after Beyonce's parting with her manager-father, Mathew Knowles, reports surfaced that it might have been less than amicable. In court documents filed in a Texas district court last year, Knowles, who managed his daughter's career for 14 years -- from her Destiny Child days to solo superstardom -- suggested that Beyonce believed her father had stolen from her and, as a result, barred him from her business affairs. Knowles denied stealing from his daughter, but by then he had already been fired from his role as manager and Beyonce had set up her own management company. Though she said, "He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly," relations were reportedly strained until she gave birth to a daughter, Blue Ivy, and father and daughter had an emotional reunion at the hospital.media: 14072173
quicklist: 3title: Joe Jacksontext: Joe Jackson is credited with creating one of the greatest pop groups of all time, the Jackson 5, and launching youngest son Michael Jackson's stellar career. Then, allegations that he abused his children began to leak out along with rumors of extramarital affairs. Eventually, Jackson and his wife, Katherine Jackson, would live apart, though they've never divorced. When Michael Jackson died in 2009, Joe Jackson asked his son's estate to help him cover living expenses of $26,000 a month. It's surely a request that Michael Jackson would have shot down: The singer, who accused Joe Jackson of beating him, left his father out of his will, requesting that all his money go to his mother, children and charities. media: 14072077
quicklist: 4title: Michael Lohantext: Though he and his starlet daughter, Lindsay Lohan, went years without speaking, for a long time, Michael Lohan couldn't stop talking about her. Through her struggles with alcohol and drug abuse, he played the father-knows-best card, going on and on about the toxic people in her life (namely, her mother, who is his ex-wife) and her need for an intervention. Not that Michael Lohan is squeaky clean. He has served multiple stints in prison, for insider trading and DUI, and lately he's been accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend. But when it comes to his daughter, who has had her own share of troubles recently, Michael Lohan continues to show up, sort of like a bad penny.media: 16012008
quicklist: 5title: John Phillipstext: In September 2009, actress Mackenzie Phillips revealed to Oprah Winfrey that her late father, rock star John Phillips, raped her at age 18, sparking a 10-year-long consensual sexual relationship. Mackenzie Phillips, the former star of '70s-'80s sitcom "One Day at a Time," said she was first raped by her father, the lead singer of the Mamas and the Papas, in a hotel room while passed out after a drug binge. The relationship continued long after she married Jeff Sessler when she was 19-years-old, and ended only when she became pregnant and feared her father was the baby's father, Phillips said. Her father paid for an abortion. "I woke up that night from a blackout to find myself having sex with my father," Phillips said on "Oprah," reading an excerpt from her book, "High on Arrival." "I don't know how it started." media: 16244177
quicklist: 6title: Woody Allentext: Mia Farrow ended her 12-year relationship with the famed director, Woody Allen, when she discovered nude photos he had taken of Farrow's 21-year-old adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn. A long custody battle for the couple's three children ensued, in which Farrow accused Allen of molesting their adopted daughter, Dylan. The judge ruled the sex abuse charges inconclusive but called Allen's conduct with Previn "grossly inappropriate" and awarded custody of the children to Farrow. Despite the scandal, Allen, then 56, continued to see Previn. They married in 1997 and are parents to two adopted girls.media: 14072130
