Jane Lynch Spills 'Glee' Finale Secrets
Actress reveals one of the final songs of the series.
-- It was an emotional weekend for the cast of "Glee," who wrapped filming on the series after six seasons.
"It was brutal," Jane Lynch, who played ruthless cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, told VH-1 show "Big Morning Buzz Live" Monday about the emotional final days last Friday and Saturday.
"It was a gorgeous couple of days, very moving."
Lynch revealed to host Nick Lachey that the upcoming final episodes will go back in time -- to 2009 -- when the pilot first aired, then forward five years to 2020.
She also said the entire cast reunited for one last song in the series finale.
"Everybody came," she said. "Everybody who was in the show who wanted to come was invited."
She then spilled the song that they performed: "I Lived" by One Republic
"I don’t know if I’ll get in trouble for saying that," she added, laughing.
Last week, Lynch's co-star Lea Michele posted a photo from the cast reunion.
"I'm so grateful though to have had this incredibly amazing experience. Thank you so much to all of our amazing Gleeks who supported us so much! I love you guys," she wrote on Twitter. "Thank you all again so much from the bottom of my heart. I will miss Rachel Berry so very much."
Michele left the set with a sentimental souvenir: a framed jersey worn by Cory Monteith's character, Finn Hudson. Monteith, who was her boyfriend on-screen and off, died in 2013.
